There’s a New Song by the Pixies!
Just about two weeks after it was announced that Kim Deal had left the Pixies, the band has decided to drop a new song (and video!) on our heads pretty much out of nowhere — behold: “Bagboy.” It’s their first new song since 2004’s post-reunion single “Bam Thwok,” and because Deal was reportedly the member most reluctant to record a new album, it could be the first of many sound nuggets from a new, super-prolific incarnation of the band. Who knows when they recorded this though, since that sure does sound like Deal in the background at 1:40. Shrug. Enjoy!
