Happy Hate Joffrey Day, Game of Thrones Fans!
@GameOfThrones
I know, I know, one generally does not need an excuse, but in this, the dead of hiatus winter, The Powers That Be (i.e., the Game of Thrones Twitter and Facebook feeds) have decreed that Thursday, December 12 be set aside as a special day to “think about how much you love to hate Joffrey.” They have suggested that you unleash your virtual slaps via the social media hashtag #RoastJoffrey, but I’m sure we can figure out some new, innovative ways to publicly disgrace the boy king. A rousing chorus of the Song of Marillion the Tongueless? The running of the Direwolves, in honor of the Joffrey-executed Lady? GIFs? I’m sure you have some ideas of your own, and you can keep tabs on all the Baratheon shade at the offical website, but first, let’s all take a moment to meditate and reflect on this classic, vital Joffrey moment:
A Merry HJD, one and all!
