Apparently Steven Spielberg Wants to Remake ‘West Side Story’?

West Side Story has survived more than 50 years without being messed with, but no film can survive untouched forever. Deadline writes that Fox is digging up the title “specifically because Steven Spielberg is interested in making it.” Nobody is onboard to write yet, and Spielberg’s name floating around a project in its early days often results in nothing more than a producer credit. But hey, if he does do it, we know what a respectful, pitch-perfect job he did with that remake of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

“I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought … what would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, Let it go, let it go!” —John Travolta, who seems to get over things in a remarkably breezy fashion

Fred Savage will direct the eight-episode debut season of IFC’s Garfunkel and Oates series.

Snooki 4 Lohan: I have been a fan of Lindsay since she started showing her cute little freckle face on our screens … I think this docu-series with OWN is the start to her comeback, and for the world to really see what goes on in her life. Lindz, I’m rooting for ya girl and I’m here for you if you ever need a friend. No seriously, call me.”
