Especially when the results are as visually stunning and musically captivating as the newly released video for “Hot Knife,” the closing track off of Apple’s masterful, year-old record, The Idler Wheel … The video has reportedly been in the works for a while now — Apple mentioned the clip last year while promoting the record, saying Anderson had started work on it before shooting commenced on The Master a few years prior. A casual attitude about promptly releasing new work is one of many traits that Apple and Anderson share, but at least the video is finally here for our enjoyment.
