Songs of the Week: The Rembert Explains America Road Trip Playlists, for Day and Night Driving

Instead of the normal Songs of the Week, I present to you two playlists that stem from spending 30-plus hours a week behind the wheel, listening to music.
1. America Road Trip Driving Jamz (Day): Really necessary, fun, important songs to listen to while driving through America when the sun is up.
2. America Road Trip Driving Jamz (Night): Really necessary, fun, important songs to listen to while driving through America when the sun is down.
Because I’m beginning to go slightly insane, I’ve convinced myself that there’s something that inherently makes tracks “night songs” or “day songs.” I couldn’t even begin to describe what that something is, but I’m sure it exists. Part of driving at night is staying awake and alert, so deep, thumping head nods (but not too repetitive and lull-inducing), as well as six- to eight-minute sing-alongs, are ideal. During the day: uptempo music that provides a worthy soundtrack to the scenery, and anything by Ke$ha.
Some songs are new, most are not, and most importantly both lists will be updated (usually with additions, and the occasional subtraction) throughout the summer.
Enjoy.
