Grantland Exclusive: The Real Housewives Get Lovingly Rendered in Pastel Portraits
Karin Bubas/Grantland
Every time we put out a new issue of our Grantland Quarterly, we try to include a bonus, something unique to the print object. In the past we’ve included the George “Ice Man” Gervin Nike poster, stickers of Ed Hochuli doing the dougie, and a 2 Chainz paper doll. Issue 6, which just came out, includes probably the best bonus yet: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills postcards! Artist Karin Bubaš, who previously did these incredible portraits of the cast of The Hills, gave the Bravo ladies the pastel treatment, exclusively for the Grantland Quarterly. The set of three postcards includes an anguished Kim Richards, an angry Lisa Vanderpump, and a bemused Kyle Richards. You can check out the portraits below, as well as a few non–Beverly Hills ‘wives not included in the Quarterly, after the jump.
