Even Simmons knows this is going to be a rough season in Boston. However, there are some things Bill and Jalen like about this year’s team, such as the potential of rookie Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley’s defensive tenacity, and, well, that’s about it. Larry Bird is not walking through that door.
