The Girls Season 3 Trailer: The Crumbs of Human Compassion and Gravestone Twerking
Here is your trailer for the third season of Girls. First things first: That song is Grouplove’s “Ways to Go,” if Girls isn’t your cup of Stumptown and you just want to Shazam your way out of it. (But then we need to ask: Why are you watching the Girls Season 3 trailer? Being here feels like a strange choice for you.) There’s a series of quick-but-still-not-very-elucidating catch-ups with each member of the gang, but the emotional money shot (and this is a show of emotional money shots) is Ray asking, “Hannah, why don’t you place just one crumb of basic human compassion on this fat-free muffin of sociopathic detachment?” Sick muffin-burn, dude. But point well-taken. Twerking a gravestone doesn’t seem like the most compassionate move, even if it buffs up the marble nicely.
