Kings Win! And Everyone Is Super Chill About It!
Here is a video of the Official Team of L.A. Live the Only Team Still Currently Playing at L.A. Live, the Los Angeles Kings, beating the Phoenix Coyotes to advance to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since 1993.
Hey! That was cool, right? But you know what I almost liked more? This clip of the Kings’ awkward handshake line with the Coyotes, who I guess get points for not straight-up destroying Dustin Brown on the ice or something.
For some background: Brown’s unpenalized hit on Michal Rozsival took out the Phoenix defenseman earlier in OT, then Dustin Penner scored and the Coyotes were eliminated, then all these guys actually had to line up for polite handshakes. On camera!
It went very well.
