On the plus side for Tampa home games: Where else in baseball can you watch the road team take BP from the first row in left or right field???

The crowd in left field for Boston’s BP ended up getting 10 homers. In right field, we ended up with two. I’m still bitter about this. No, I didn’t bring a glove.

That brown-red shag carpeting doubles as the “warning track” at the Trop. No wonder Rocco keeps getting hurt.

In center field, there is a giant fish tank with a bunch of stingrays. More fans were more interested in this tank than batting practice. If the Rays want to liven up home games, they should stick this tank in the middle of right field.
