B.S. Report: Kevin Millar, Keith Law
The bad news: I am freaking out about the Red Sox. The good news: At least I can trap knowledgeable human beings on my podcast for long periods of time and vent to them.
On today’s BS Report, I brought in the MLB Network’s Kevin Millar to talk about Boston’s September swoon, the surging Rays and questions like, “If Millar were on Tampa Bay, would it have pissed him off that the Rays waited so long to bring up Desmond Jennings and Matt Moore?”
We also argued about whether pitchers should always be second-class citizens in any MVP voting (I said no, Millar said yes), and we talked about the playoff picture and the two teams You Don’t Want To Play (AL + NL). From there, ESPN.com’s Keith Law came on to discuss Matt Moore’s possible effect on the playoff race, whether Tampa screwed up by not trying to make a run sooner, who the biggest hits and misses in the year of baseball prospects were, and why Keith continues to flagrantly spurn his fans by refusing to write a “Top 100 24 & Under Baseball Players” column.
