You can’t blame Darren Aronofsky and Russell Crowe for trying to get Pope Francis to bless Noah, but P-Franz has probably been kinda Hollywood-shy since losing his Final Four bout to Yeezus in Rem’s Who Won 2013? bracket, you know? According to Variety, a whole meet-and-greet and potential photo op was scheduled and recently canceled. “When reached by Variety last week, Aronofsky said the meeting had been proposed, but it wouldn’t happen if anybody reported or tweeted about it ahead of time.” But now The Hollywood Reporter’s got a story saying a meeting wasn’t ever scheduled — although Crowe is in Rome for a Tuesday premiere and some press duties. Your move, Pope.
