This Opening to the 1982 MLB All-Star Game Is Pretty Great

Right? This comes to us via noted Montreal enthusiast, helicopter photography expert, and connoisseur of ’80s television graphics (and occasional baseball dude) Jonah Keri. Olympic Stadium was packed (and not just for All-Star games). Gillette razors had a measly one blade, which I assume meant pools of blood spurted out of your face until the arrival of the Quattro. And ABC World News Tonight was sponsored by an exotic beverage called Natural Light.”
