Grantland Network Podcast: Men In Blazers
In this week’s podcast, Michael Davies and Roger Bennett brave the international break’s dreaded return and emerge all the wiser. They recap Euro 2012 group qualifying — including the late dismissal of England’s Wayne Rooney — and turn their attention to the far more optimistic side of the pond to debate what was learned from the all-important (yet entirely meaningless) U.S. friendlies against Honduras and Ecuador.
The Men In Blazers are then joined by gute freunde der pod Steve Cherundolo to share their campaign to make his name a verb. Move over Google, Xerox, Reagan. The U.S. men’s national team defender and Hannover 96 captain also helps educate the blazered men on what life is like under the reign of new U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
