Grantland Audibles: USC’s Marqise Lee
Welcome to the first edition of Grantland Audibles, a podcast for those TL;DR folks who enjoy Grantland’s content but don’t have the time, energy, or willpower to sift through our thousands of written words. This is where we’ll take select features from the past year, set them to background music, sprinkle in sound effects, and, voilà, audio stories.
The premier Audible is Jordan Conn’s story about USC wide receiver Marqise Lee. We had a voice actor narrate Conn’s story, in which he chronicles Lee’s journey from a gang-ridden childhood in Inglewood, California, to a star college football career and unanimous 2012 All-American season.
