The girls return from their winter hiatus ready to dive deep into all the important culture they took in over the break — obviously Millionaire Matchmaker, The Bachelor, and the Channel 4 documentary Secrets of the Living Dolls. (We’ll get to all that awards season fluff next week.) It gets us thinking about beauty standards in the Housewives era, plastic surgery, dating apps, and our many futile attempts as a culture to find love-by-numbers. Finally we wrap up by talking about American Hustle and our (absolutely equal!) love for Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence.
